For Brokers & Intermediaries

A straightforward, direct route for your cases

We work with brokers and intermediaries on business-purpose bridging, refurbishment, finish-and-exit and development finance. Expect quick, honest feedback and direct access to decision-influencers.

Submission route

Submit directly through our online application forms, or send a short case summary to loans@charterhcp.com or call +44 (0)20 3603 3260. You can complete an application on your client's behalf as the intermediary.

Communication expectations

You'll deal with people who understand the transaction. We aim to acknowledge new cases promptly, give an early indicative view, and keep you updated at each stage through to completion. Timescales depend on the case and third parties.

Fees & commission

Broker fees are agreed on a case-by-case basis and confirmed in writing before completion. We support transparent, compliant fee arrangements and will set out any commission clearly in the indicative terms. We do not pay for introductions to regulated consumer lending, which is outside our remit.

The broker process

  1. 01

    Submit the case

Send us the key facts via our application forms or by email. A short summary is enough to get an initial view.

  2. 02

    Initial review

We assess the property, borrower and structure and come back to you quickly with an indicative view — never a formal offer.

  3. 03

    Indicative terms

If suitable, we issue indicative heads of terms for you and your client to consider.

  4. 04

    Diligence to completion

Valuation, legals and credit approval run in parallel through to drawdown, with direct lines of communication throughout.
