About Charter HCP
A specialist business-purpose property finance provider and arranger
Charter HCP Bridging provides or arranges business-purpose bridging and property development finance. We work with property professionals, investors and businesses on residential-led transactions across the UK.
Our approach
We take a commercial view of each transaction, assessing the property, the borrower's experience and the exit strategy. Our aim is to be a considered, responsive counterparty that keeps cases moving while underwriting responsibly. We only consider business-purpose and other unregulated lending, and we do not offer regulated residential mortgage contracts or consumer loans.
Transaction-led
We structure finance around the specifics of each deal rather than forcing it into a fixed template.
Straightforward
Clear communication and honest feedback about what a case needs to progress.
Disciplined
Responsible underwriting with independent valuation and legal due diligence on every case.
